Bridget was a five-time letterwinner in both softball and basketball. As Coach Carol Hutchins' first out of state softball recruit, she earned All Big Ten honors in 1988 and went on to play basketball her fifth year for Coach Bud VanDeWege.

After graduating in 1989 with an engineering degree, Bridget went on to play professional baseball for the Colorado Silver Bullets all-women's baseball team, managed by Hall of Famer Phil Niekro. She was a 3-time USA Baseball national team member and won two World Cup titles in 2004 and 2006, including being the first woman elected to the USA Baseball board of directors. Winning the championship on the television American Gladiators is her most legendary accolade.

Bridget has her MBA in international business and currently serves on the executive board for the Pitch and Hit Club of Chicago. She and her husband, Mike, live in Deerfield, IL where she works in her family's commercial real estate business
