What is a favorite Michigan memory of yours?

“Matching the U-M program-best finish as the second place team at the 2016 NCAA Cross Country Championships, by only one point. I remember telling our Coach Mike McGuire that I wished it hadn't been a one point difference, and he replied "you'll look back, and won't want it any other way". He was right.”

How has your sport prepared you for your career?

“Michigan academics and athletics taught me just how much consistent, hard work can pay off, the value of learning from others, and the importance of arriving three minutes early to practice :)”

What is your advice for upcoming grads?

“Never give up on your dreams, and keep on chipping away--even when your goals feel far away.”
